Sara Lee, the brand owned by US-based Hillshire Brands, has announced the launch of its Lemon Pound Cake variety, a new pound cake loaf, as well as an update to its Butter Pound Cake, which is now more moist.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced that it is streamlining the registration process for fertilizers and supplements.

For this year's high-holiday celebration, we spoke to cookbook author Reyna Simnegar who shared recipes for Quince Stew, Persian Steamed White Rice, and Persian Cream Puffs, and explained the Persian community's unique Rosh Hashanah Seder tradition. MIDTOWN — FreshDirect has plans to deliver its greens by going green.
 
The mobile grocer is mulling a Midtown pilot program to use bicycles to ferry food to customers, according to sources. The
program could start in as soon as a month.
